Cranfield Church of England Academy is required to keep and process certain information about its staff members and pupils in accordance with its legal obligations under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). 

The Data Protection Lead of the Academy is the Headteacher, Mrs Lisa Munday, who can be contacted via the details in our 'Contact Us' page.

The school may, from time to time, be required to share personal information about its staff or pupils with other organisations; mainly the Local Authority, other schools and educational bodies, and potentially children’s services. The policy and privacy notices below are in place to ensure all staff, governors and parents are aware of their responsibilities and rights and to outline clearly how the school complies with the core principles of the GDPR.
